Talk to RSF Board
Every RSF Board meeting has a time for Member Input, where any Covenant Member can talk to the Board for three minutes about any topic they want to. Many of the proponents of Silvergate RSF have used this opportunity to speak to the Board. The group opposing the project has also used this opportunity, unfortunately sometimes repeating statements that are not true.
It is important that the Board hears from as many well informed members as possible. Participating could not be easier. Just show up before the time of the Board meeting, Usually at about 10am on the first Thursday of each month. Tell the receptionist before the meeting that you wish to give member input. You may be asked to fill in a slip with your name. Wait for the member input section and you will have three minutes to talk to the Board.
Here is a link to the RSF Association website. If you set up a user name and password and log in (they will help you if you call the number given on the site), you can see the Board meeting and Art Jury schedules and agendas in advance. You can also view video recordings of past Board meetings
You can also always send an email to RSF Board at rsfa@rsfassociation.org. Include the words "Member Input" in the subject of your email.
However, it is much more fun to go to the meeting to look the Board members in the eyes when you tell them what you think 🙂.
